-Collect 24-hour urine without preservative. Send 4 mL of urine refrigerated in a plastic vial.
Note: 1. Total volume required
2. Avoid direct sunlight
3. Avoid taking allergy causing drugs, antihistamines, oral corticosteroids, and substances which block H2 receptors
for at least 24 hours prior to specimen collection.
